On June 13, The Yellow Fiddle will host 'Laugh It Off Thursday' Open Mic Comedy Night.

The open mic will begin at 9 p.m. so show up and sign up early to get a spot.

First timers are especially welcomed and it's a low pressure environment.

Providence Baptist Church Annual July 4th Celebration, June 30

The following is a news release from the Providence Baptist Church:

Providence Baptist Church will have their 4th of July celebration, June 30 from 6-10 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church, 1180 Eatonville Rd. in Hattiesburg.

Meal served at 6 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Activities begin at 7 p.m. and fireworks begin at 9 p.m.

The church will have live music from their praise band. Also they will have an inflatable obstacle course, slide, and jump for the kids. It is for all ages and is completely free.

Every Monday night at 9 p.m., join Hub City for Open Mic Comedy Night at McGregor's Pub (formerly Martini Spot) in Hattiesburg.

If you have what it takes, think you have what it takes or know someone who might have what it takes show up Monday night and step up to the mic! Sign-up is at 8:30 p.m. and each performer will be given a 5 minute time limit!

FIRST TIMERS ARE ESPECIALLY WELCOMED!
