Emmitt-Nershi Band, Sept. 12 | Events

The Bluegrass group Emmit-Nershi Band will be at the Boom Boom Room, Sept. 12 at 9 p.m.

 The Emmitt-Nershi Band features:

• Drew Emmitt on mandolin
• and Billy Nershi on guitar.

The two veteran bluegrass and jam band musicians originally began touring together back in 2007, and two years later released the album, 'New Country Blues,' a collection of 11 tunes the duo wrote together in a matter of three days over a long weekend. Now, on their current tour, Emmitt and Nershi are joined in the band by Andy Thorn on banjo and bassist Johnny Grubb.
