Forrest General’s Rehabilitation unit is pleased to announce that it  ranked in the top 3 percent in the nation for Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities that qualified to be ranked in the IRF database of Uniform Data Systems for Medical Rehabilitation in 2011.

Representatives from Forrest General Hospital, the City of Hattiesburg and other organizations across the Pine Belt are teaming up to create healthier communities through the newly formed Pinebelt Wellness Council.

Among the hundreds of babies born at Forrest General each year, a percentage of those tiny patients enter the world needing specialized care after birth. For some critically-ill babies, Forrest General’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit offers the gift of health through a seemingly simple solution – cool water.
