United Way kicks off campaign Brady Bunch style | News
HATTIESBURG (WDAM)- United Way of Southeast Mississippi kicked off its 2012-2012 campaign with their annual luncheon in Hattiesburg Thursday.
The theme this year was The Brady Bunch and as fundraisers embarking on
a hopeful six month campaign watched from tables, United Way staff put
on a short retro television-themed skit.
The event is meant to be a simultaneous thank you, kick-off celebration
and announcement of the $503,000 already raised by local companies
chosen as Pacesetter organizations that started fundraising this summer.
